Empower your meat free cooking skills with this one-day crash course, where you’ll learn to transform seasonal vegetables and fruits into incredible dishes.
Over the course of the day, you’ll get to grips with seasonality, flavour combinations, nutrition, textures and various cooking methods all under the supervision of an expert tutor. By the end of the day, you’ll know how to effortlessly whip up a simple veg stock, hummus, vegetarian mains and more.
Mastering vegetarian cooking is all about knowing your ingredients and getting creative in the kitchen.
This hands-on masterclass will empower you to make fruit and veggies the main event in your everyday cooking, leaving you eager to explore a world of new, plant-based culinary ideas when you head home.

Course run-down
9.30 – 10.00: Welcome! Start the day with cup of tea or coffee on the house.
Morning session: We’ll start the day by getting you up to speed with the seasonality of vegetables and fruits, before making a veg stock with the addition of pulses and ancient grains and learning how their versatility can improve any dish. While the stock’s simmering, we’ll make salsas, pesto and hummus dips to be enjoyed with salad for a light lunch.
1.30 – 2.15: Lunch
Afternoon session: After lunch, we will focus on the making of two desserts: one sweet and the other savoury using fruit. To cap off our veggie journey, we’ll prepare a filling vegetarian main dish that you’ll leave with to finish and tuck into when you get home.
4.30: Head home armed with methods and a digital book of recipes to continue your practice!
